Freddy Nyembwe: Originally, from the Congo, Brazzaville, now an American citizen to the Founders of Woven Vessels International Ministry. "I went to worship with the Burundian people at the Union Baptist Church, with my good luck, I met Jacqueline Humphrey, who helped me, she is my Mum. God used the Humphrey's to help me to record gospel music, Momma Jacqueline introduced me to Mr. Sergio Keck, Bi-lingual Director, Lansing School District, he offered me a job as a Specialist working with students. I speak a lot of languages, it has allowed me a good living and an opportunity I never expected. By the grace of God I am a successful American citizen (August 28, 2014) and have recorded C.D.s. God uses people to help other people, I thank God for the Humphrey's, I am comfortable".
Odasi, Hamenyimana: Burundian Pastor to the Founders of Woven Vessels International Ministry: "You helped us whenever we needed help, you gave us the direction we needed, you pray you are brothers and sisters, you are our friend, when we were in the Baptist church you found time for me to preach. You found someone to translate for me, even now you continue to help us, even when we don't ask, God sends you to us. At night we called you, you came to help us, you helped my kids to follow the laws and helped them learn about school. We wanted a place to pray and you helped us find it, when I could not see - you helped me go to the doctor, you took us to get food for my family. I am working with Immigration to bring my son and his family to live here. You loved us and told us the right way, all of the things we have now is because you showed us. Because of the war (in my country) I could not go to school, I think my mind can't learn English because of my age, please continue to help us. For everything you have done, God will pay you".
