Assisting Newcomers

Assisting Newcomers

Refugees are people who were forced out of their countries of origin because of war, or (fear of) persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, political affiliation or opinion. Most of whom, spend decades in refugee camps or transit points in a foreign land seeking asylum to countries who will offer them the opportunity to have a better life. They leave all their possessions behind, if any, and begin life in their new country with bare minimums. Upon arrival to the United States various agencies provide services to assist them in re-settling. Woven Vessels International Ministry attempts to fill the gap between what is provided and what is needed.
